Accessibility Statement
Last updated — · Working draft — pending final legal review
ChiChi-Verse is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, and to the accessibility duties under the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law and standard IS 5568 (aligned with WCAG 2.0 AA).
Conformance target
We aim to meet IS 5568 / WCAG 2.0 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort and we are working toward full conformance. A formal accessibility audit: [ audit status / date, if performed ].
What we've done
- Semantic HTML structure with landmarks and a logical heading order.
- Full keyboard navigation, with visible focus outlines and focus trapping in dialogs.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and controls, and clear link/button labels.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” system setting — the animated starfield and transitions are dimmed or disabled.
- A colour palette and text chosen for readable contrast on the dark theme.
- Responsive layouts that reflow down to small screens without loss of content.
- Confirmation before any link leaves the site or opens an external app.
Known limitations
Some areas may not yet fully conform, including third-party embedded content (such as the Spotify player and the enquiry widget), which we do not fully control. [ list any known gaps found in an audit ]. We are working to address these.
